New Project

Today I'm starting a new cross stitch project for Mom. She and I went to Michael's to get a ball of crochet thread that she needed, and I thought I'd go see what cross-stitch kits they had. Mom came back there and said, "You should make something for your Mama." :) Eric had given me some money to use for my next project, and I had saved it in my wallet, so I went ahead and bought the kit, even though I had barely started on the birth announcement for Ronan's room.

Well, I finished the birth announcement last night! I still have to wash, dry, iron and frame it, and then I will post a picture of it, along with the matching growth chart Barbara is making. She has a little more to do, because hers was a large project! I'm so glad she asked me to do the birth announcement, because it got me re-started on a fun and productive hobby!

Isn't it beautiful! Mom had a hard time choosing, because Michael's had several kits she really liked, but I think she will be happy with this one. I better get off this computer and get started!
